Its adiyens privilege to post the following note received from Sri.Arvind. I was
happy to know that Sri.Arvind was able to visit this koil, and am of the hope
that it becomes a regular visit. (Nice to be getting bhagavathas to admire and
pray to Sri.Varadaraja Perumal, maybe he is the "Chinna" Perumal, since the
Periya Varadaraja Perumal is in Kanchipuram).

Respected Sir,

We were delighted to enjoy your article about Nambi's thirunatshatiram and
also about Shri Pushpavalli sametha Shri Deva Perumal temple at Poondamalle.

We were blessed with the good fortune of going to this temple, for
concluding day utsavam(10 days). The sannidhi's and the prakarams were very
crowded. Infact to have darshan of Nambi(Moolavar) and Shri DevaPerumal it
should taken atleast half an hour in the queue( at 10pm !) . Lot of
Bhagavathas had come from in and around villages.Their devotion to Nambi was
something which adiyen could only envy. A musical concert was also
arranged.

The temple was renovated, and painted nicely. ARangan(moolar) was
beautifully adored with a Velhi kavasam. Some blessed devotee had sponsored
this kainkariyam 6 months back. The Velhi Kavasam of AdiShesan was also
completed and inagurated on Nambi's thirunatshatiram, yesterday. A new
Kannadi arai was also constucted. Thirumanjanam for Nambi was performed and
Nambi was prepared for Vedhi Ula by about 11 pm, when we returned back home.
Due to office compulsion, we could not be present today(25th Feb) at
11am(IST) to honour thirtham.

It was a suprising experience, since we never knew that such a big temple
exists at Poondamalli.

Having read your article, adiyen was prompted to share our experiences with
your humble self.

Adiyen
