Dear Bhakti members,

Thanks to Shriman Bharatan for wonderful summary of various commentaries on
Srimath BhAgavatham.  In addition to different commentators mentioned by
Shriman Bharatan, Sri Bommari POtana (I guess around 14-15th century)
translated Sanskrit Srimath BhAgavatham to Telugu.  Even today, Telugu
speaking people recite his poems from Gajendra Moksham and Rukmini KaLyAnam.  

While translating Gajendra Moksham, when Gajendra surroundered to
SrimaNNArayaNa and called "Adi Moolame! Come and Hellp", Potana started
describing Sri Vainkutam by saying "Ala Vaintuthapurilo, Nagarilo Namula
Saudhagramuna", but was not sure how to complete the description of Sri
VaikuntHam.  In order to complete the poem, POtana wanted to take a short
break and take a walk. It seems, when POtana left his home, SrimaNNarayaNa 
retuned home and completed the poem.

Most of Telugu speaking Vaishnavas on Sri Krishna Jayanti night read Dasama
Skandam (upto Sri Krishna's birth) from Sri POtana's Srimad BhAgavatham.
