Respected bhAgavathas,

The International Ramanuja Society and Vedics are blessed to present
AzhwAr-AchArya Vaibhavam (the Greatness of our Mystics and Teachers), an
utsavam (celebration) and conference. The event will be taking place
October 27 and 28 at SriRadhaGovinda Temple, 1400 Cherry Street in
Denver, Colorado.

The event marks the first utsavam hosted by the two educational and
humanitarian institutions, and is intended to honor Bhagavad Sri
Ramanuja through the celebration of the thirunakshatrams (Holy
Appearance Days) of the mudalAzhwArs (the first three mystics), Poigai,
Pey, and Bhuthath, and three of our revered pUrvAchAryans (Teachers),
Swamy Vedanta Desikan, Pillai Lokacharya Swamy, and Swamy
Manavalamamunigal.

An agenda is currently being finalized for this event, and will be
provided shortly. I can state at this point, however, that since the
two hosting organzations place emphasis on education and outreach, a
balance is being sought between traditional ceremony and discussions on
the profound contributions that each of these individuals made to
Bhagavad Ramanuja Darshanam (Sri Ramanuja's Vision). We are also
intending to provide some time for more informal satsangam and
interfaith discussion, and perhaps, a chance for those who are
interested do a little sightseeing in our beautiful Mile High City.

I request those of you who are interested in attending to please confirm
by sending an e-mail to the address shown below. Please provide your
name, names of family members who will be attending with you, and your
contact e-mail address and telephone number.
