Dear BhakthAs :

There are 33 slOkams in this most 
important sthOthram of Swamy Desikan 
including one Phala Sruthi slOkam .

I have covered upto 7 slOkams now.
It is my deep desire to complete the coverage of
all the 33 slOkams by Swamy Desikan's
Thirunakshathram (PurattAsi SraVaNam ),
which falls on Sunday ,October 8 . As you
know , this is also the day special to OppilAappan,
Lord ThiruvEnkatamudayAn , whose GhaNtAvatharam
is Swamy Desikan .

Inview of the shortness of time from now 
until October 8 (18 days to cover the remaining 26
slOkams), I would have to quicken the pace beyond
one slOkam per day . I hope you do not mind 
this fast-paced postings inview of the above
reasons.

In closing , for every one of us the learning
and recitation of this powerful sthOthram
of Swamy Desikan with maanthric significance 
is very , very important. For acquisiton of saamAnya 
and VisEsha Jn~Anam , the blessings of Lord
HayagrIvan is absolutely essential . That is
the reason for this special effort and to have these
postings archived as a whole in the ParakAla Matam
home pages besides the Bhakthi List archives.

The ParakAla matam yathis have the BhAgyam of 
performing AarAdhanam to the LakshmI HayagrIvan
worshipped by Swamy Desikan , AchArya RaamAnujA
