Adiyen's pranams to all

It is said that being born as a brahmin, one has to
perform nitya agni everyday. but i hardly find any one
, including members of my family not doing the same.

has Sri ramanujar or Sri vedanta Desikar written about
these, or have we left up our traditions, kindly
calrify??

if it has to be followed, what is the procedure for a
the iyengar community. kindly clarify
