I am not an active member of this list due to my ignorance of the subject
matter. However, I would like to say I greatly appreciate the learned
members of the forum sharing their knowledge with those of us who are truly
undeserving of such a honour.

The reason I am addressing the list is the following:  I am expecting a
painting of Shri Andal Thayyar that I have ordered from an artist in Chennai
to be completed within the next month or so. Trying to find a way to defray
some of the shipping costs, I am looking for someone who is coming from
Chennai around the end of November who wouldn't mind to bring Thayyar with
them. I live in the Washington, D.C. area, but will happily pay the cost of
shipping from anywhere in the United States.

The painting will not be very large and I can provide the specifics to
anyone who is interested in helping.

Please forgive me if I have used this list in a way that is inappropriate.
