Dear Sudharshan:

Welcome to the prapatti group.  Re. your quiz You should include Anukampa also 
in the synonyms of Daya.  Otherwise the very first sloka itself will qualify as 
an answer for your quiz.  I have heard that there are three slokas in Daya 
Sathakam without these words.  I have to do a little homework on that.  
However, to answer your quiz: "Nishaamayathu mam Neela....." in the first decad 
does not have a daya or its synonym in it.

In this connection, I was surprized to note that there is not a single 
reference to Daya or Karuna in Vishnu Sahasranamam.  Please correct me if I 
have missed any.
