"SrimAn VenaktanAthArya: kavithArkika kEsarI!
VedAnthAchArya varyO mE sannidhatthAM sadhA hrudhi"!!

The next kalyAna gunA of our Lord, according to
Shri Alavandar, is gunavAn.

Shri rAmA is described as being GunavAn in Ramayanam.

In fact for the question,

"KOnvasmin sAmpradam lOke gunavAn .. "

it required 24,000 Slokas for Sage vAlmIkI to give
a detailed explanation of the kalyAna GunAs of
Lord Rama.

Swami DesikA's kalyAna gunAs are also plenty
and would require equal amount of explanation.

Lord Rama wanted to manifest his kalyAna gunAs
into the world and thus be a role model to
mankind.

Swami Desika was also a glowing example of
kalyAna gunAs.

Shri rAmA's Sowseelya, that is mixing with the
lowly, without any tinge of lineage, wealth or
position is highly praiseworthy;

Swami Desika did not distinguish vidvAns and
AvidvAns, he was the same to all SrivaishnavAs.

What are we to speak of Swami Desika's gunAs!!!

All of us are aware that we should not commit
Bhagavat and bAgavata apachAram. This itself is a
mega task for us. But Swami Desika has advised us
that there should be no apachAram even in one's mind.
Even by our thoughts we should not commit Bhagavat
and bAgavata apachAram. Which means that we
should have complete control over our mind.
Swami Desika lived by it and is an example for us to
follow.

There are eight Atma Gunas. All these gunAs can be
seen in Unison only in our Swami and not anywhere
else.

Swami's divine qualities bring in prosperity, to
one and all!

It is a known fact that all the general kalyaana
gunAs are in born in Swami Desika.
Let us discuss about specific gunAs and not the
common ones.

Swami stood thus:

in his speech "mAnam" - pramAnam,
in the heart (towards dEvapperumAl) - abhimAnam,
towards Acharyas - sammAnam,
towards SrivaishnavAs - bhahumAnam,
towards prAmAnikas - pramAnam.
towards mahAns - UpamAnam.

Swami Desika's life is a lesson for us to learn from.
We can learn from Swami's authority in his speech,
his reverence/respect to the lord in his heart,
his humility to Acharyas,
his over whelming love towards Srivaishnavas,
his authority for seekers of authority.......

Swami Desika's auspicious qualities is
beyond compare!!!!!

"Kavi Taarkika Simhaaya Kalyaana gunA SaalinE!
SrimatE VenkateshAya VedAnta Gurave nama !!"

...To be continued!
