Dear Sahridayas,

Sriman Sadagopan's explanation of the grace of Periya Piratti and
Peiyaazwaar's verses inspired me so much that I wish to share my inadequate
attempts at writing to explain the inexplicable..

 Ma, My Goddess!

Ma! Where art Thou, Ma?- I cry;
As my tears mingle with the ocean
in which Thy heart lies with the Lord,
consecrating waters of lifeÂ’s  passion.

Ma! Can Thou hear me, Ma?- I shout;
As I pull and pluck Thy veena strings,
Thy cosmic song- the mirth it brings
wells my space with joyous springs.

Ma! Can Thou see me, Ma?-I plead;
As I grope and grieve for Thine eyes,
Thy vision turns into pure Love light
And Lo! a thousand eyes shine so bright.

Ma! Can Thou bless me, Ma?-I whisper;
As I seek Thy heart and pour my Soul,
Thy vajra breeze whiffs past in brief,
Did I hear Thee say,"Thou art my heart?!"

Love unbounded, Self unmasked Oh Ma!,
makes Thee a requirement, not a sentiment!.
Thy immortal silence and immanent presence,
Transform my transience into transcendence.

Adiyen dasi
