Hi,

My name is Srinivasan and I am a graduate student pursuing an M. S. in
Biomedical Engineering at Ohio State.
I was introduced to this group by a friend, Mukunthan and have been watching
the activities here over the past few days.
I read some of your intros. Many of you seem to have more than a passing
knowledge of vaishnavism, an area that I am not too familiar with inspite of
coming from a vaishnava family.
I don't have too strong a belief in God.
nevertheless, i enjoy reading the thiruppaavai and visiting the parthasarathi
perumal koyil. these and the annual aavani-avittam form my list of 'vaishnava'
activities. i would like to do more like reading the thiruvaaymozhi, for
example (someday, i hope). I have always been interested in hindu philosophy,
particularly that of the acharyas - Sankara, Ramanuja and Madhva. so when i
heard about your discussion group, i was interested.
I like the idea of the CD project and would like to be involved. Will be
writing to Mr. Dileepan in detail.
Here's to good discussions and successful projects.

-Srinivasan
