regarding Manjula's discussion

We have to define Karma, since one can be confused
by poorva-karma vs present karma or kriya. "Podah
Karmam" refers to destiny, Karmayoga refers to one
of action.
Is Pof L same as duty in life? DinL is based on place,
circumstance and time. Even here the rules change
and our puranas point out this conflict. Cotra examples
abound.
With women's lib, I tend to agree that man is not
superior. 
I think the phrase "Veetha raga bhaya krodhaha" in the
Gita answers some of the questions.
