Krish@astro made a comment about the possible reaction if NY Times
started writing on religion.  There is a CBS affiliate Radio Station
WTOP here in Washington DC that carries a daily feature called Report
on Religion.  In 1987-88 during the Srilankan civil war this feature
carried a report which stated that the fighting between the Tamils
and Sinhalese was actually only a fight between the predominantly
Hindu Tamil and predominantly Buddhist Sinhalese.  Christian Tamils
said the report, coexisted peacefully with Christian Sinhalese.  I no
longer listen to this station but I believe the feature is still
there and I guess it still "sells".
