silence and truth

all you vaisnavas please accept my pranamas, all glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga Is there any root difference of a vow of silence and a vow of truth? As I have heard it told real silence means speaking about Sri Hari, and real truth also of the same catergory. So Is there any fundimental difference?
