balena prataapairguNaiyo varishhThaH |
smaratyambikaa shuulapaaNistathaa ya.n
sa nopekshate raamachandraH svabhaktam.h || 31||

mahaasa.nkaTii soDile deva jeNe .  
prataape baLe aagaLaa sarvaguuNe ..  
jayaate smare shailajaa shuulapaaNii .  
nupekshii kadaa raama daasaabhimaanii .. 31..

mahaasa.nkaTii = during great danger
soDile = released
deva = gods
jeNe = by whom
prataape = power
baLe = might
aagaLaa = unique
sarvaguuNe = all virtues
jayaate = of whom
smare = remembers
shailajaa = Parvati (daughter of Himalaya)
shuulapaaNii = Shankara (holding the trident)
nupekshii = neglect
kadaa = ever
raama = Rama
daasaabhimaanii = proud of devotees.

%versemeaning

He who saved the gods in times of great danger,
Great in virtues, might, and power, 
Whom Parvati and Shankara ever remember,
Proud of His devotees, Rama them never desert.. 31..
