Dear Bhagavathaas, In reply to Sri.Raghu Sheshadri's poser I was reminded of the sloka of the "Kurai onRum illaatha Govindan" in His Treasure to Mankind: Srimad Bhagavad Gita: "Tad vidhdhi praNipAtena pariprashnEna sEvayA | UpadEkshanti tE gNAnam gnAninah tatva darshinah ||" The Lord says that That Truth (the paratvam of the Lord) can be easily obtained from the Compassionate AAchAryA upon: Prostrating, Questioning & by Serving the AAchAryA. So by the Grace of the AAchArya (who is a shrOtriya, Brahma nishTa, etc..) & hence by the Grace of the Lord, the secret of everything will be laid thread bare. Of course, the Shishya must also befit His Grace, for the Lord Himself says: "AscharyOsya vakthaa, kushalOsya srOtha"..etc. To recognize an enlightened man requires His Grace (obtainable by prapatti) and ofcourse, a constant training of the subtle instruments (Manas & Budhdhi in a man) to focus on Him. Vaachaka Doshah Kshantavyoyam janah. Submitted at the Feet of Sri Krishna & the Bhaagavathaas.
