Dear Members
Thanks to Sri Mani Varadarajan for replying to abhivadhanam question.
I have another sandhyavandhanam question.
Right after Arghya pradhanam we turn around ourself saying
"Bhoor bhuva suvaha" and sprinkle water around ourself and
then we say "Asavadithyo brahma".
I have also seen Shankarite adhvaithis turn around themself
(comically, in front of a deity sometimes) probably with the (mis)conception
that they themself are the absolute brahmam and their physical body is
circumambulating the absolute brahmam.
What is the significance of the turning-around-oneself part in
sandhyavandhanam for Vaishnavas ?
Thank you
J. Venkatanathan
