Sri. Sampath Rengarajan wrote a very informative posting on ThirunaRaiyoor.
I had the privelege of visiting this kshEthram last december. The moolavar
looks as if He readily comes forward extending the chaNGgu and chakkaram (thiru
ilachchinaigaL) to do the samaasrayaNam. (as he did to thirumaNGgai
aazhwaar). 

I narrowly missed the kalgaruda sEvai festival by a day. I heard a lot about
that. can Sri. Sampath or somebody else write abt it in detail?
