Dear Friends,

My name is Kiran Rao, 27, and I am joining this list
with the hope of finding answers to a few questions. I
am relatively new to the philosophy of Shri Ramanuja.
I am just a student looking for answers.

I was very impressed by the Academy of Sanskrit
Research at Melukote near Mysore, Karnataka. It is on
the advice of Shri Lakshmi Thathachar two years ago
that I started studying Sanskrit. He told me that I
should not study Sanskrit as a mere language, but as a
guide to life. He introduced me to the work done at
the Academy and its research on the works of Shri
Ramanuja.
