  thirumaalai nangaL thiru.

This paasuram is the 56'th in iraNdaam thiruvandhAdhi. It is quite
interesting.
I used to think mudhal AzhvAr's pAsurams are more param and vyUham
centric. But
this pAsuram beautifully expresses the sowlabhyam and that too of
thAyAr! The
alliteration in the first two lines is very interesting and the
simple conversational
expression is beautiful!

A short meaning: Can a person overwhelmed with the true feeling of
love,
hesitate from expressing his feelings for fear of derision? (No. It
wouldn't do justice to the true love. So,...) Even if the dark
colored
perumAL hesitates a bit to show his true glowing golden form, our
dear
thAyAr readily shows Him to us.

A person shying away from expressing his true love is shown as an
example to compare with any little hesitation on the part of the
perumAL. The rhetoric question posed in the first two lines is
answered interestingly by the role of thAyAr who shows Him to us even
before he does.

Why would perumAL hesitate, even a bit, to show his true golden form?
As explained
in the sri vachana bhUshaNam(*), He is contemplating what form He
can take to show Himself to us... If He shows His true viswaroopam,
can we, with our mortal eyes, even take a glimpse?
