The issue at Srirangam

Sirs:

Like many, I have also made some efforts in the matter to restore the archa 
of Sri Thayar on the chest of Sri Ranganatha following the message of Sri A 
Krishnamachariar Swami of SriVaishnavaSri, Srirangam.

Like all of us I am very glad that the matter has been settled to the 
satisfaction of the Bhagavathas.

I was curious to know the cause of the issue to which Sri Murali Thirumalai 
has raised some questions. I am informed that some of the present archakas 
had informed the Renovation Committee that they have not noticed the icon of 
Sri Thayar on the chest. On the basis of this assertion, the Committee acted 
as it did before it was corrected.

It appears that no blame is to be put on the Government or the Stapathi for 
this episode.

My information is from a very authentic source, a Sri Vaishnava Acharya.
