Sacrilege averted

           Dear bhagawatas, In a triumph of the
collective will of SriVaishnavas , the Temple
authorities have decided to restore Sri Mahalakshmi
and Srivatsam on the vakshastalam of Sri Ranganatha.It
has been officially announced to this effect and
appears to have been due to the efforts of several
concerned devotees,with HH Sri Ranga Narayana Jeer in
the lead.This is indeed a reassertion that Piratti 
she would not leave Periaperumal for even a second
(agalakillen irayum endru alarmel mangai urai
marba)and a reminder that Sri Ramanujarya divyagya
still runs large at the Koil.A million thanks to all
Srivaishnavas and others of various newsgroups who
responded spontaneously and overwhelmingly for the
protection of our Sampradaya.Expression of such
collective will is indeed heartening and gratifying.
adiyen is sure that Emperuman must be feeling proud of us.-dasan,sadagopan.
