Dear Sri Sadagopan, This is only true for sishyas of Ahobila Matham. For all other members of the Vadagalai sampradaya (Parakala Matham, Munitraya ashramas and Svayamacharyas), the samasrayana parampara comes through either directly through Sri Vedanta Desika or through the patrilineal ancestor of the svayamacharya.
