Dear Sri Sadananda,
Your point is well made but I think it is customary in the
tradition of Bhagavad Ramanuja to denote this as sambhAvana
even for a sannyAsi; this is presumably because the sannyAsi
is in the position of an achArya and therefore sambhAvana is
due him.

I believe this is used as the sambhAvana mantra for the Lord.
