Just a quick followup to Sri SatakOpan's note.

PEraruLALan's Garuda Sevai always falls on
VaikAsi VisAkam. Secondly, signifying that
the phrase amararkaL athipathi refers to 
Varadarajap Perumal and since he asks that
his mind surrender to that Lord, Swami 
Nammazhvar in the Kanchi Atthigiri temple 
has his right hand held near his heart 
("amararkaL athipathi ... thozhuthezhen 
mananE").
