Sri:
SrimatE Gopaladesika MahadesikAya Namaha,
Dear Bhaktas,
Over the course of the past year, Sriman Sadagopan Swamin and
Adiyen undertook the Kaimkaryam of presenting Swami Desikan's
magnamopus-the Padhuka Sahasram on a daily basis on another electronic
forum. So far 260 verses spanning 10 paddhatis have been covered.
A separate website dedicated to the Padhukas has been created
at
http://padhuka.homepage.com
This site contains an excellent introduction and overview of the
Padhuka Sahasram by Sriman Sadagopan Swamin. Another important
feature of this website is the Yantram (geometric form) corresponding
to shlokam 949. Swami Desikan's mastery of the science of Yantra
resulted in this most beautiful design of the Yantra for shlokam
949. This Yantram is most potent in invoking the blessings of the
Lord's Padhukas. Summary of the individual verses are also
archived at this website.
Recently, Sriman Mani Vardarajan Swamin requested Sri Sadagopan
Swamin and Adiyen to share the Padhuka Sahasram summaries on the
Bhakti list as well. Accordingly, the Padhukas commence their
Sancharam into the Bhakti list with the Sanchara Paddhati. Sriman
Sadagopan Swamin and Adiyen request members of this forum to browse
the above-mentioned website for summaries of Shlokams covered so far.
Namo Narayana,
SriMuralidhara Dasan
