Dear Friends,

Sri SarayuRajesh's explanation on Thirumankappu on
Lord Venkateswara seems to be correct in one point of
view. Andal in her Thiruppaavai also prays the Lord to
shower his 
sacred grace slowly on her.("Sengan siru Chiridhe
yemmel Vizhiaavo") .She says that they will not be
able to withstand the sudden fall of entire Kadaksham
on them.This may be one of the reasonof the thiruman
covering the eyes partially. Regarding the eyes open 
fully on thursdays i don't have any idea.
