Sri:

Dearest Sisters and Brothers,

ThirumagaiAzhwAr, realising and enjoying the greateness of SarvEshwaran
longs to join Him. Since he is not able to live without Him and can not bear
any further delay to attain His Feet, AzhwAr, performs prapatthi. He alone
is the One who can save us- AzhwAr realizes and His Feet alone shall be end.
AzhWar surrenders to Thirunaangoor KaavaLampaadi PerumAL saying
“You alone are my rakshakan”. An excellent ten pAsurams on Anayagatitvam!
(Please bear with me for the delay in this post due to my business trip)

1. “KaavaLampaadi KaNNanE! KaLaikaN neeyE!”. GajEndran, searched
everywhere and finally arrived at a big pond, which was full of Lotus
flowers.
He entered into the pond and went to the middle to pluck one big beautiful
lotus to offer to Emperumaan. He uttered AdhimoolamE fearing that the lotus
in his hand may not reach the Lord at all and was saved by the Lord Sriman
Narayanan, (who came to remove GajEndranÂ’s sorrows and sufferings from the
crocodile.). Oh Such Greatest EmperumaanE! KaNNA! The One who shows Himself
gracefully at Naangai KaavaLampaadi! You alone are my rakshakan.

Oh KannA! The One who brought back the Earth on Your horn (as Varaaha
Moorthy; the One who took a small boy form as Vaamanan (as per the
requests of Devas to reduce or remove MahabhaliÂ’s strengths and begged for

snake! The One who is at Naaangai KaavaLampaadi!

6. OH EmperumaanE! The One who killed the wrestlers ChaaNooran,
and Mushtikan at the entrance of KamsanÂ’s palace! The One who
simply made all other strong kings fall dead in the battle field
(of Bharatham)! The One who is at Naaangai KaavaLampaadi! You alone are my
rakshakan!

9. (A beautiful pAsuram! Please enjoy the transliteration too below!)
The Lord of Chandhas (Gayathri?)! The Niyamakan (the Director?) of

other “small” kings serving them.
