The data on 74 mudhali-s is interesting. Thanks to Mr. Srinivasan.

I have tried for some time to find out the source for my last name. My dad,
grandfather and other previous to him have/had initials "K. E." where
K is for a village called Kunnavakkam and E for "Elayavalli".

I would like to know if "iLaiyavilli" in 'komaandoor iLaiyavilli' (#72 in the
list) is in any ways related to my last name (it was my decission to use
Elayavalli as my last name).

PS. the vialllage Kunnavakkam does not exist anymore (that's what my dad
thinks). It was said to be very close to Kancheepuram.
