Respected fellow-members!
I have been a member of this list for just about two years now and
derive utmost pleasure from it!
There have been numerous instances of requests for donations for
kaimkaryams and other Godly pursuits, and I hope to win some
assistance from you for a new Sree Venketeswara temple being planned
and built at Cary in North Carolina, USA.
We have recently been granted permission from the Town of Cary for
building the temple, but need to get basic amenities like a good
access road among other things, before the temple construction can
begin.
The temple has two very erudite priests and there are numerous
ongoing programs aimed at spreading awareness of the Hindu religion
and basic tenets of Sri Vaishnavism among the local Indian population.
Some important programs worth mentioning are:
· Gurukulam classes for kids every sunday - Slokas and Bhajans
are taught including stories from our epics and Bhaagavathams.
· Regular chanting of Vishnu Sahasranamam and prabhandam.
· Classes on Naalayira Divya Prabhandam is being planned among
other things.
Do visit our temple at
http://www.svtemplenc.org
and also on your visit to Raliegh/Cary area in North Carolina.
The temple address is:
Sree Venketeswara Temple – North Carolina
9421 Chapel Hill Road Cary, NC, 27513
Phone: 919.468.0040
Please do help in any way you can. Please send your contributions to
SVTEMPLE North Carolina. We have a very able group of directors and
committee members whose phone numbers are included in the web-site of
the temple.
Thanks in anticipation.

ps. Please do consider this mail as nothing more than an ardent
devotee asking for help from all quarters he can possibly access.
I beg forgiveness from elders and tolerance from my peers if this
mail is considered abuse of the forum.
