Dear Bhagavathas:

With the grace of Srimad Azhagiya Singar the Sri Sannithi Sishyas in the 
U.S. are happy announce celebration of Acharya Thirunakshathrams on Sep 1 
and 2, 2001 at Washington D.C.  The acharyas whose Thirunakshathram will be 
commemorated are Srimad Mukkoor Azhagiya Singar, Swami Sri Desikan, Srimad 
Athivan Satakopan, Srima Devanar Vilagam Azhagiya Singar, and Prakirdham 
Srimad Azhagiya Singar.  The actual thirunakshatram dates range from Agust 
to November.

The program will include ubhaya Veda parayanam, nava-kalasa thirumanjanam 
for Sri Navaneetha Krishnan, Dolothsavam, presentations by Sri Sannidhi 
sishyas and other Sri Vaishnava devotees, youth/children’s program and much 
more.  A detailed program is being put together and will be announced soon.

We invite all bhakthas to come and take part in this two-day event.  Only 
with your active participation the event will be a success.

Date   : Sep 1 and 2 (Labor day weekend)

Plan to arrive on Friday August 30, 2001.  A web page will be set up soon 
for the participants to register.  We will be happy to make local 
arrangements such as airport pick up/drop off and accommodation.  Please 
give us the details of your travel plans.

We request all the Sri Sannidhi sishyas to take active part in organizing 
the celebration.  Please contact one of the coordinators for details about 
how you can help.

Also, I request the members to circulate this e-mail in all other e-mail 
groups so that the event will receive wide publicity.
