Funding of various of Srivaishnava Causes

Dear Bhakthas,

Pranamams to all of you.

LET ME AT THE OUTSET CLARIFY THAT THIS IS NOT A POSTING SOLICITING FINANCIAL 
CONTRIBUTIONS FOR ANY SPECIFIC SRIVAISHNAVA CAUSE.

All of know too well that finance is the life line of every activity. The 
various Srivaishnava causes that we honestly believe in, cannot be any 
exception to this rule. Hence it may not be an overstatement if it is  
stated that without adequate financial support, some of these causes may 
also “die off”.

As believing and practicing srivaishnavas, how do we ensure that these 
causes are sustained without excessive dependence on only a few contributors 
for these causes, or slip into a hopeless situation fully acknowledging our 
inability to support what we fully believe in.

There is a view which believes that it would be against the principle of 
saranagati if we were to elude ourselves that “WE CAN DO THINGS”, when the 
ultimate sutradhari is “SrimanNarayana”. I have also listened to a counter 
to this which says that “Ultimately all of us are instruments in His hands”.

I WOULD BE QUITE KEEN TO ASCERTAIN MEMBER’S RESPONSES TO THE BASIC PROBLEM 
OF “HOW TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE VARIOUS SRIVAISHNAVA CAUSES”. I will be 
grateful if members can respond to this. May be we can all put our heads 
together and work out a methodology.An across the board participation will 
also infuse fresh thinking and possibly fresh solutions to the problem on 
hand.
