Dear Sri Mani and Sri Mohan,

I think" Koodarai vullum " 27th Thiruppaavai paasuram refers to sakkarai 
pongal in words "paaR chORu mooda ney peudhu muzhangai vazhi vaara..." 
(paaR chORu means: milk rice ... sakkarai pongal...)

Another nice thing: Koodarai vellum seer GovindhA! A lovely line: 
Govindhan who wins (either their hearts or the enemies) those who do not 
join Him; (True! It is all His grave and effort for any of our avtions 
towards reaching Him! NirhEthuka kataaksham!)
