Namaskaram,

My name is Pradeep Sreekanthan.  My entry into this group is thanks to my
friend Sumanth Kaushik.

I have just begun my graduate studies at MIT in the department of Materials 
Science and Engineering, where I obtained my bachelors.  I hail from a 
Vadegalai Iyengar family in Bangalore.  We are quite religious and active in 
many circles -- Andavan Ashram, Chinmaya Mission, etc., and more recently, 
we have founded a trust called "Heritage" to explore our rich (Indian) culture

I have been exposed to both Advaita and Vishistadvaita philosophies, though my
background in Advaita is stronger as a result of greater involvement with the
Chinmaya Mission.  I'd like to find out more about Vishistadvaita, 
Ramanujacharya, and Sri Vaishnavism, in general -- hence, my desire to be part
of this list.
