SrImathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya namah:
Dearest Srivaishnavas,
29th pAsuram- SiRRam chiRukaalE vandhunnai sEvitthu..
You did not choose the best place like AyodhyA for your birth in this 
avatar; instead you chose the group that rear the cattle; and you mingled 
with us so much that one can not distinguish if You had ever been anywhere 
other than this place. “. It is our puNyam. You effortlessly destroyed all 
our enemies and yours as well. Oh Parama purushA! Please fulfill our desires 
in our hearts.”..

In the month of maargazhi, in the foggy wee hours, which send chills through 
the spine in spite of the woolen cover on the top; - During such early hours 
(wee hours) in order to show our faces to You; and to sEvicchufy (pay 
obeisance to) You and enjoy Your divya thEjas and divine beauty- we have 
stood here at Your lotus feet.

Why are You standing? Why donÂ’t You keep moving towards me and tell me what 
you all want.
In your earlier avatar, “kastha Eva vyathishtatha”- Without coming nearer, 
VibhIshaNan stood still in the sky. We too are scared that there may be some 
protests here not to accept us (like the case of VibhIshaNan).

VibhIshaNan came from the group of Raakshasas and hence was the problem from 
our devotees. Out of love for me, they suspected him; In your case, you are 
not coming from lankA. You all belong to this place. Tell me what you want.

Krishna! Just enjoying your divine face alone is sufficient for us and we 
have stood here frozen by its beauty. This is adequate to go to 
Srivaikuntam- we have realized and have stood here. The face appeared to 
indicate to us the dwayam (the pair of lotus feet) and our eyes shifted to 
the most beautiful just bloomed lotus like tender lotus feet of yours. Since 
it is early morning which instills sattva guNa in people, the beauty, 
fragrance is all filled completely in Your lotus feet and they control our 
minds without letting it wander anywhere else and do any other action. This 
SaraNadwayam stops us from doing any other activities. They appear to say, 
“what You have to fo further can be seen in those feet itself”. We have been 
wondering as to what it is. Suddenly we realized that this dwayam (the two 
feet) reminds us of the dwaya manthram by the grace and darshan of the lotus 
feet. The Dwaya manthram thus reminds is and saraNam prapadyE has arisen on 
our minds. Hence we have praised your lotus feet and we have now surrendered 
at Your lotus feet. Are you asking why we have surrendered? As You have said 
in earlier avatar, “nAnyathA prApya:”, we have surrendered to attain You 
only.

Now that You have already attained Me and enjoyed Me as well, why have you 
surrendered to attain Me again?
Even if what we have attained You now and enjoyed You is more than the 
Srivaikunta anubhavanm, still it is not enough and will end very soon. It 
will end at least at the end of this birth for us. For us, sure there is 
death. For you, sure, there is an end to your avatar, as there is a mission 
for your avatar. Once that is over, You will go back. Hence, this anubahavm 
is only temporary.

pORRum poruL kELAy- You asked. We have started telling the answers. Do not 
look somewhere else. Listen to us carefully. There is none else who is 
calling you now. I donÂ’t know what you are thinking. Listen attentively.
Tell Me.
peRRam mEytthuNNum kulatthil piRandhu- You- being born in a cowherd folks 
kulam- where the folks rear the cattle, protect them and the consume (the 
milk only after having them finished their eating to their (cattle) 
stomachÂ’s content); people who rear the cattle, milk them and let You drink 
everything- Such You- The one who is born in Nandha kulam as Nandha gOpanÂ’s 
darling son; Such greatest sowlabhyan- You need to listen to our prayers 
carefully.

For whatever purpose You took birth in this place; that needs to get 
fulfilled. For whatever purpose we are born in this place in your time, that 
purpose needs to get fulfilled. So, please fulfill our desires. For that, 
please do not stop from instructing and ordering us to do all sorts of 
service (kaimkaryam) to You (kuRREval engaLai koLLAmal pOgAThu.)

Immediately KaNNan gave them five lakhs of small drums (iRaivaa nee thaaraai 
paRai.. – in last pAsuram). They all received them with zeal. They all 
bathed; They completed their puja to KaNNan beating the drums. He was 
offered Sakkarai pongal and they all ate together happily with KaNNan and 
Nappinnai sitting in the middle. After all that is over, they asked KaNNan, 
“Please tell us in Your own words opening your jOthi vaay (divine mouth) .. 
‘mA sucha:”. Abhayam… “ etc.. (Do not worry. I will grant You).

I already gave you what you aksed for. Not just one. But five lakhs. Still 
what is that you want?
This is not the PaRai that we want. We want. Parai (kreetam- play and 
enjoyment with You). This paRai here is (a)parai there. This is just skin 
paRai. If this is what you wanted to give us, we would not have even taken 
it in our hands at all.

So, you want enjoyment in that place (Srivaikuntam)? How long? Like what you 
enjoy here, you want to enjoy for million years? Is that the time limit you 
ask? How long you want?

We are not asking that way. yERRaikkum yEzhEzh piRavikkum.. (for seven and 
seven births- perhaps 7+7 or 7 *7 briths)
KaNNan asks: Oh poor girls! Assume that I grant You; what does that mean? 
Maximum you will have this Anandham with me for 49 births which equals to a 
maximum of 100 x 49 about  5000 years. Is that enough for you? And for all 
these births do you want me to be born with each of you 49 times? Have you 
thought all this? You emtioned earlier that you wanted srivaikunta prAPthi. 
Those who have gone to Srivaikuntam- there is no come back. Nacha 
punaraavartthathE.. Saasthras say- There is no return for mukthan once he 
reaches Srivaikuntam. Are you asking fro Srivaikuntam or births here with 
me? Looks contradicting now.

KaNNA! We are not so dull headed. Also we have the most intelligent GodhA 
with us. We want only Srivaikunta prApthi like Anantha Garuda, Vishwaksenars 
et al and be blessed to serve at Your feet flawlessly for ever and ever. 
(ozhivil kaalamellaam udanaay manni vazhuvilaa aDimai seyya vENdum naam). 
You are looking at mistakes on our statements and requests. We are not 
asking for 49 births
Then why did you say yEzhEzh piRavikkum..

KaNNA! I know that You know. But You are testing us, I suppose. – AndAL 
says.
Sage Jaimini establishes that the mukthAthmA takes forms to serve. He can 
take. ekathA bhavathi; thrithA bhavathi; panchathA bhavathi. Etc.. He can 
take one forml three forms; five forms; seven forms etc.. We would like to 
take seven different forms at srivaikuntam and serve You in all sorts of 
ways. yEzhEzh.. meaning: each us need to take seven and seven forms. Thus, 
if we take seven bodies, are they not seven births? They are. ThatÂ’s what we 
had meant.

So, do you want to go now?
No KaNNA! Never. Not when you are here. During the end of your avatar, we 
will choose to go with You. Till then we will serve You here itself 
flawlessly and joyously. We have come to You with no ahankaram, mamakaram. 
We have surrendered to your lotus feet. Please grant us the mukthAnandham 
here and there as well.
Assuming I do not grant You, what will you do?
Each of us will take a placard carrying, “Here is KaNNan who failed in his 
words” and go around the streets for everyone to know that you went back on 
your words. We will just have the writing [what You had said]: mA sucha: 
aham thvaa sarva pApEbyO mOkshayishyaami..”. And here he has failed.

Oh do not cry. I just said for fun. I grant you all mOksham for sure. Having 
surrendered at my feet, it is my duty to grant you the same.
Everyone cheered and praised KaNNan.
uRRomEyAvOm umakkE nAm AtcheyvOm- we are always your property; your dAsars; 
having surrender at Your feet, we always are for serving YOU ALONE and none 
other than You. For YOU ONLY, we serve and we are subservient to only You.

KaNNA! Please bless us not to have any other desires in our heart other than 
serving your feet at all times uninterruptedly and flawlessly
asthuthE.. (Let it be so.)
How would you like to enjoy me and serve me at Srivaikuntam?
we donÂ’t know what is the protocol there and how mukthAthmA will be. But 
now, we would like to be ladies (here as well as Srivaikuntam).
