Sri Ramajayam,
I have been a member of this mailing list for couple of months now. Here is my brief introduction: I am a Hardware Design Engineer by profession, having done engineering in Electronics and Telecomm, currently working in the US. I was brought up in Pune, Maharashtra. 
Its been a year since i started with the pursuit to find the most intriguing answer of "Whats the purpose of Human Life? " I would like to know from the august audience about the various scriptures available in English about the Sri vaishnavas?  
I am not conversant with the biography of our acharyas even though i have heard names of few from my parents. I would like to know names of the books or publications and where can i find them? Also i am interested in books which explain about the Sri vaishnava philosophy and the teachings of our acharyas.  I would also like to know the main difference in the philosophies of the different vaishnava sampradayas? 
I will be more interested in the names of the publishers or book houses in Chennai as i will be visiting the place soon.
