SrI:
SrImathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya namah:
Dearest Srivaishnavas,

20th verse- muppatthu moovar amararkku muncheNru kappamÂ…
First, they performed Purushaakaara (recommendation) prapatti- surrender to
Nappinnai. Later they performed prapatti to both Nappinnai and KaNNan for
the fruits that they wanted (i.e. KaNNan Himself). Somehow, the fruit has
not come yet. Why? Purushaakaara prapatti and Phalasiddhi – why have they
not materialized? They are asking KaNNan and Nappinnai. Sri Krishnan Himself
declared in GitA in his own words though this Saranagathi is mentioned in
Vedas as well.

hEy KrishNA! The One who appeared to dispel the fears (bhayam- Kappam) of
everyone who is scared of their own paapams that they have committed over
millions of births before; and are scared of the Narakam and other samsaaric
ills; who have been ignorant and have also brushed aside the saasthrAs and
have been under the spell of ahamkaaram and mamakaaram at all time and in
all births; they have committed great sins and acted on their senses /organs
and minds- to trespass the saasthric injunctions. You appeared like the male
cub of YasOdhA! Come out of the YoganithrA! hEy! KrishNA! The one who took
pledge saying, “I will save you from all sins; Simply surrender to my Feet
alone; Do not lament and I shall grant you Paragathi. (mOksham). – Oh
Gaambheerya, AudhArya KaNNA! Open your eyes and wipe away the tears from our
eyes.

[Also another interpretation for Kappam- Kalpam- tree by Srimath Azhagiya
SIngar] Oh Kanna! The One who won against the 33 crores of Devas and brought
the tree (kappam) -so that they do not (thavirttha) have the tree anymore –
for the sake of your divine Consort SathyabhAmA. Most valourous KaNNA! You
fulfilled the desire of SathyabhAmA! Now fulfill the desire of these lakhs
(millions) of Gopikas and open your divine eyes.

seRRArkku veppam kodukkum vimalaa! The Purest One- who gives heat (angers on
enemies of Asrithars- devotees and destroys those enemies).. You are capable
and are so victorious. Also the paapams committed by devotees (earlier and
also on going commitments) are also enemies. They are also crushed by
KaNNan. pOya pizhaiyum pugutharuvaan ninRanavum theeyinil dhoosAgum.. When
You decide to save them and protect them, those who says, “You should not
save them- they are great sinners- You simply ignore them or conquer them.
Tvayi rakshathi rakshakai kimanyai: tvayi cha arakahsthi rakshakai:
kimanyai:- says Swamy Desikan in kaamaasikAshtakam. (If you decide to
protect, who can stop and if you decide against, who can protect anyone?)

Okay- A doubt here raised by Srimath Azhagiya Singar and being cleared by
His Holiness himself. Of He removes the paapams of devotees then they become
pure (vimalars); how can KaNNan- who removes their paapams- be addressed as
Vimalan. (purest one).

Assume that someone has a mind which thinks of “I will kill this guy; I will
crush him; I will beat him,” – He commits such sins mentally. Where does
that sin go? Does it go to somewhere? Where is stored? In which folder and
which directory? In his mind? In space? In universe? Where? Sri Azhagiya
Singar says, “it is stored as anger in KaNNan’s data base. He gets aangry
whenever some one commits a papaam; commits against saasthras; commits
Paradhaara Asai (adultery); commits anything that displeases Him; commits
(especially) BhAgawatha apacharam; etc.. Also, there are millions and
millions of people; and they all commit millions and millions of sins every
moment- all go to His data base as anger. Because itr is He who instructs
“thou shall not do this; thou shall do this “ in saasthras. And when the
person is sent to the hell (narakam) for suffering; the anger gets dissolved
for that sin for which he had undergone this suffering.

Okay. How is He vimalan- (blemishless?) How can he be Vimalan when he always
thinks of so many crores of people, and their millions of paapams as to how
to make someone lame, someone blind, someone donkey; someone dog and thereby
resolve their sins respectively? – Such punishments and karma results are
contemplated by Him; how can there be vimalathvam?- When someone surrenders,
He leaves all their millions of paapams committed to dust and forgives them
unconditionally; When he surrenders (performs Saranagathi) at His lotus feet
and seeks forgiveness for that paapam, He immediately gets pleased and
forgives (being the Greatest dayAsaagaran and most compassionate One); his
anger goes off. If you do not seek forgiveness, undergo the punishment.
[Also do not commit again the similar paapams intentionally]- He not only
makes the devotees vimalar (devoid of paapams) He also is Vimalan
(blemishless) full of mercy and compassion and divinity due to his
forgiveness. He sends all such paapams on the enemies of devotees.
seRRaarkku veppam kodukkum- he gives those heat (paapams) to the enemies
(not just his enemies; but also the enemies of BhAgawathas)

Oh Most Blemishless- Purest Lord! KaNNA! Get up.
Since you considered me as your Acharyan, I am telling You this. In the
mantra (Dwaya- which is meant for performing Saranagathi), there is amention
of SrI. You need to have SrI- Mahalakshmi as the Purushaakaram
(recommendation) and then surrender to me. You need to perform Saranagathi
through an Acharya. Here this Nappinnai is the amsam of Neela dEvi- who is
yet another NithyasUri and is not Sri Mahalakshmi. Only Mahalakshmi and I
are Vibhu and uttered also by Sage Parasarar in Vishnu Puraanam and Bhattar.
Bhattar said, “yuvaadhvAdhou thulyE”. She is equal to me in all aspects and
respects. There is none else equal to us. Sicne Nappinnai has the amsam of
Mahalakshmi and her grace and also she is an amsam of NeelA dEvi- you can
consider her in lieu of Mahalakshmi now and perform Saranagathi thorugh her
as Acharyan and as Purushakaram. Go ahead. –. Contemplate of Acharya
paramparai and then perform Saranagathi to my Feet. Sicne you do not the way
to perform these Acharyas will enable you and surrender on your behalf or
will make you qualified to do so. (Acharya nishtai and Ukti Nishtai-
respectively). Should you do that, whenever You want the phalam (furits) it
will materialize at that time (dhEhAvasaanam). - KaNNan appears to have said
to Gopikas.
Gopikas go to Nappinnai- Oh young girl! Naappinnay! The One who has smiling
face- when the devotees approach You! The One who follows the SruNOthi;
SrAvayathi- One who listens to the devotees attentively and appeals to the
Lord suitably and tactfully so that he forgives them and considers them. You
are that Thiru- SridEvi! Please save us and we pray for that. Recommend us.

What do you need? – Tell me. Says Nappinnai.
We need perform Thirumanjanam for KaNNan and Yourself. You need to equip us
with sakala upakaraNam (equipment and necessary strength, infrastructure)
for the same and you both need to come with us. After bathing you and
adorning You both with dresses, ornaments,dhUpa dhIpam, etc,., we will use
that theertham (holy waters from Your Feet) to purify us and absolve
ourselves of all our paapams. Please do the same.

Sure. One day- we will come.
Why someday- ippOdhE emmai neeraattEl.. Right now- come and let us perform
Thirumanjanam at YamunA.
Please read from vidwAns' commentaries about other greater details- Srimath
Azhagiya singar ends with such great humility. anything good - the credit
goes to the divine commentary of SrI Mukkur Azhagiya Singar's. Errors,
faults are only due to my lack of understanding.
