Dear Bhagavatas You would have heard of the name of "Bidar", one of the "ceded Districts". The correct name, we are told, is "Mohammadabad Beedhar". There is a cave in this place filled with water forever. If you wade through the chest deep waters, deep into the cave for quite a distance, you can reach a niche on one of the side walls wherein you can see the vigraham of Lord Narasimha. Devotees from all over India visit this place to offer their prayers to this Narasimha who is considered by the locals as "VaraprasAdhi" I have visited this shrine long ago during one of my official tours. The interesting fact here is that nobody knows wherefrom the water gushes forth. The quantum of water never increases or decreases but remains constantly at the level of chest deep. Can anyone in the list, hailing from there throw more light on this? Dasoham Anbil Ramaswamy
