Ramayana Doubt

SrImate rAmAnujAya nama:

Dear Bhaktas,
I realized that my mail was,as usual,very unclear..Since I didn't receive
a reply thus far, I thought I would clarify my question.

When Bharata had taken a vow to fast until death to make Sri Rama return
,Sri Rama asks Bharata to give his vow up and touch him .

Sri Krishna Premi seemed to clearly indicate that in this
instance Sri Rama, acted as God and not as man. He did not give much
detail except for describing this event in the following order..

I had heard Sri Krishna Premi say (with deep feeling) in an upanyAsam
"Raamar Enda doraNai-la pesaraar!" ..I hadn't noticed this or other
similar instances on my own (I, in fact lack both the anubhavam and the
intellectual capacity of noticing such subtle things)..My only question
was if this were a standard interpretation or if it was Sri Krishna
Premi's own anubhavam..

My request was that the learned members of the group elucidate on if this
were supported by Smriti and how our AcAryas or other vyAkhyAna-karatas
had elaborated on "uttiSTha tvam mahAbAho mAm sprisha tathodakam".
I wasn't questioning Sri Rama's act, trying to make scholarly
observations, or pointing fingers at anybody. I apologise in case it
seemed like any of these..

The complete verse in the Ramayana (in the critical edition by
Gorakhpur
press) is ayodhyaa KaanDa --111.23

"etaccaivobhayam ShrutvA samyak sampashya rAghava |
uttiShTha tvam mahAbAho mAm sprisha tathodakam ||"
