As per the Agni Puranam, the Surya Vamsam was as follows :

Narayana - Brahma - Marichi - Kashyapa - Surya - Manu - Ikshvaku - Kakutshan - etc

Since the Lord descended from Kakutsthan in the Surya Vamsam he is also called Kakutstan. The same logic applies to his name as Raghava (descended from Raghu).

I do not know much about the Chandra Vamsam except that Janaka and Sita were from this dynasty
