Dear all,

Some time ago, one of the members of the Bhakti-list (but unfortunately 
I forgot who it was) wrote to me that before Sankara there was somebody 
else who wrote a commentary on the Brahma-sutra. Could somebody give me 
some more information about him? (who he is, where he lived, what he 
wrote, what his philosophy is ...)
