MaNi probably is referring to the periyaazhvaar thirumozhi - 3rd paththu
7th and 8th thirumozhis.

In the 7th thirumozhi, (aiyap puzhudhi), periyaazhvaar takes the role of a
mother
whose daughter is smitten with love for the Lord. [ In the previous paththu,
naavalam
periya, periyaazhvaar thakes thaamaan thanmai]. In the penultimate paasuram of
this
thirumozhi, the relatives of the girl, on seeing the state of her longing for
the Lord, decide
to take her and leave her with KaNNapiraan. That is described by aazhvaar in
that
paasuram.

Our poorvachaaryaas say that even after that, the mother did not take the girl
to emperumaan.
But, emperumaan himself comes to their home, and takes her away to aayarppaadi.
When
the mother did not find her daughter the next day, she laments that some
calamity
might befall her daugher. She has so many doubts about the wellbeing of her
daugher.
That is the 8th thirumozhi - nallathOr thaamaraip poigai.
This is an extremely beautiful thirumozhi. In the first paasuram, the mother
laments about
not finding her daugher, and questions if her daugher is in thiruvaayppaadi. In
the second
paasuram, she laments about whether any bad name will befall on her family since
kaNNan
took her daughter to aayppaadi. In the third paasuram, she wonders whether the
people of
aayppadi will celebrate her daughter... and so on.. I am attaching the 10
paasurams
from the divya prabhandham page.
