Dear Members , While trying to condense the history
behind the 36,000 Eeedu grantham , I have left 
the impression that this grantham was created anew  by 
Vadakku Thiruveethi PiLLai (VTP ) . As Sri Varadhan has
kindly pointed out in a private mail , VTP  transcribed the 
kalakshEpams of his AchArya and therefore it is accurate
to call Eedu as NampiLLai eedu . The AchAryA was unhappy 
with VTP for writing without his permission unlike 
PeriyavAcchAn PiLLai . The angry AchArya kept it out of 
circulation until divine intervention made it available to us .
Thus we are blessed with Nampillai's Eedu vyAkyAnam .
