   How about cooperation?

   In the case of Thirumangai mannan, he cooperated
   with Kumudhavalli naachiyar.  What came out of this
   is there for all to see.  In the case of Sri
   Ramanuja he had to enter into sanyasam due to
   lack of cooperation.  Most people would have
   acquiesced in favor of domestic peace.

   For performing even simple devotional activities
   cooperation between spouses is important.  Not
   many would be prepared to enter into sanyasam
   in order to continue with devotional activties.
   This, was my point, not that these two great men
   needed the approval of their respective spouses.
