Dear Ramanuja dasas..
there are different perspectives in viewing how God
bestows his boons to the people.
each perspective come one from the stand point of
bhakti( emotional), Gyana ( intellectual) and beyond
both these from Athmathathva..
as far as bhakthi is concerned God is Love ,
embodied..
He infinite Love.
so as someone else has pointed out the rain does not
fall with preference..
He showers His blessings to one and all.
but the questions then arises.does even the people who
commit malevolent actions enjoy His blessings?
this is to be approached from intectual stand point..'
He has to walk between the lines of karunya and
Justice.
just as the Judge who declares ( or supposed to
declare) proper verdict even if the guilty is his own
son.
so He does not bestow the showers to all undeserving.
and beyond that standing from Athma thathva...
the boon giving God ceases to exist as it is that one
supreme Purusha that indwells in us all as
Antharyamin.
so external God no more exist.
so Showering of His grace does not stand valid..
every thing gets decided based on the persons own
Prarabdha..
but the third seems to atheistic ( though it is the
truth)
so the second is the right answer..as always
intellectual approach is superiour to emotional
approach.
this is my personal view and deseres commented either
in group or in person ID sowmithran@rediffmail.com
