Hello All,
In his mail about "bhakthAngrirENu", Sri Madhavan has made an
excellent reference to the periya thirumozhi 8.10.3 pAsuram.
I couldn't resist myself from reading about it... Kaliyan's
kaNNapuram pAsurams are very special and I wish to share this
pAsuram with fellow 'kaliyan fans!'

maRRumOr dheyvam uLadhenRu iruppArO
duRRilEn * uRRadhumunnadiyArkkadimai *
maRRellAm pEsilum n^in thiruvettezhuththum
kaRRu n^An * kaNNapuraththuRaiyammAnE. (8.10.3)

In the prose form, we read it as follows:

kaNNapuraththu uRai ammAnE!
maRRum Or dheyvan uLadhu enRu iruppArOdu uRRilEn
n^in thiru ettu ezhuththum maRRu ellAm pEsilum,
n^An kaRRu uRRadhu un adiyArkku adimai

Oh! Lord, who resides in kaNNapuram! I never associate myself
with those who believe in the existence of other gods. Even though
the ashtAkshara mantram teaches everything one has to learn,
I would still be at the service of your adiyArs. (This is what
I have learnt from the mantram)
