Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:

Dear Bala,

While initiating Thirumantram to the Sri Vaishnavas, the Acharyas of
Tenkalai sampradayam initiate with Pranavam to all irrespective of Gender,
Caste.
The Acharyas of Vadakalai samprayadam, Initiate Thriumantram to Women and
Thirukulathars without Pranavam.
There are several arugumets and counter arguments as to how you split the
Ashtakshara Mahamantram.(While Tenkalai - With Pranavam and Vadakalai
without Pranavam)

Acharyas of Vadakalai Sampradayam believe that Pranavam should not be
intiated to Non Vaidekas like Women /Others who need not follow Vaideeka
Rituals like Aupasanam etc.

Subject: Tirukulathor and ANthanNar

I read in a book that one of the differences between the Thenkalai and
Vadakalai is in the treatment of Tirukulathor by ANthaNar.

I request more information on this.
