Dear Sri Vaishnavas ,

The Lord has no direct enemies .He vanquishes in various avataras
the enemies of His Bhagavatas who in turn become His enemies He
protects those who seek refuge in Him .As a result the
vanquishing of His enemies is actually a blessing in disguise for
His enemies (an act of Benevolence) as those souls are liberated
from the cycle of birth .Among the various kalyana gunas of the
Lord the foremost one is protecting his adiyars .This
rakshakathvam is praised and sung by the azhwars .
