Dear brothers and sisters,

I would like to introduce myself as a new member to the Bhakti 
listserv. 

I was brought up in the SriVaishnava tradition and subsequent 
experiences in life drew me to the Sri Aurobindonian tradition. 
Happily I can say that I have been able to progress in my Path with 
inspiration from both schools of thought. This has been largely aided 
by parental support in my spiritual endeavours and their leading by 
example.

While  I maintain  strong connections with Srirangam where I spent my 
childhood and youth and where generations of my family have lived, I 
have lived in Delhi for nearly the last ten years and moved to the U.S 
about 6 months ago. I am at present based in Chicago and spent a 
significant amount of time studying comparitive religion, spirituality 
and philosophy. 

I am delighted to be able to join and look forward to the learning 
experience that such an interaction always brings.
