	Day and night she knows not sleep,
	Her eyes swim in torrents of tears
	She wipes them with the palms of her hands

	"Chakram!" she cries; "O Shangam!" she cries
	And clasps her hands, to them bowing;

	"thaamarai kaN!" she weeps and reels
	"Ah! how can I bear to be without you!"
	She sighs and gropes all earth for him;

	O Lord of thiruvarangam, abiding where
	Waters flow in plenty, where fish
	Mad with joy leap and dance!
	What will you do with her?
