Dear Michael,
Parashara Bhatta was a junior contemporary of Ramanuja.
Hence he can be dated to the latter half of the 12th
century (late 1100s).
His exact lifespan is in dispute; some say he lived for
only 28 years, others say he lived for much longer but
still did not live a full life.
